Warley Hill Physiotherapy Clinic Ltd in Brentwood, Essex is located in close proximity to Brentwood main line train station, has good road links, is accessible by all means of public transport and has 2 hours on-street free parking outside the clinic. Our Physiotherapy team is friendly and highly skilled in the treatment of Back Pain, Neck Pain, Sports Injuries, Neurological Conditions, Woman’s Health Conditions, and General Rehabilitation.

We aim to offer a Physiotherapy appointment within 24 hours.

Physiotherapy treatments

We are able to assess and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, e.g. Tennis Elbow; Golfer’s Elbow; Whiplash Injuries; Back and Neck Pain; Sports Injuries; Rheumatoid Arthritis; Fibromyalgia; Ankylosing Spondylitis; Spondylosis; Arthritis; Knee Pain; Ankle Pain; Sprained Ankle and Bell’s Palsy; as well as a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

We are also able to offer Neuro-physiotherapy for conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, and MS.

In terms of Physiotherapy for Women's Health, we are able to offer treatment to aid incontinence, and weak pelvic floor muscles and Antenatal and Post natal conditions.

Our treatment modalities include manipulation, soft tissue and joint mobilisation techniques, electro therapy, acupuncture, and a full scope of exercise and rehabilitation techniques. Posture correction and ergonomic advice.

Meet the Team

We are a team of Physiotherapists, who are all members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and are registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). Both Professional Bodies regulate our Code of Conduct. Hemla David is a member of Physio First. Warley Hill Physiotherapy Clinic Ltd is an Approved Physiotherapy Provider of Bupa, AXA PPP and HSA. We offer a wide range of Physiotherapy techniques which are appropriately selected according to your individual needs, so as to facilitate pain relief and where possible a return to normal function.

Hemla David

MCSP, HCPC Reg., BSc (Hons) Physio. With Human Sciences (1994)

Specialities: Musculo-skeletal conditions, Neuro-Physiotherapy, Rheumatology and Chronic Pain Management, Exercise therapy including Pilates for the treatment of chronic pain, muscle balancing Acupuncture and Deep Tissue Massage.

Types of Conditions Treated: Back, Sciatica and Neck Pain and Spondylitis, Post surgery and Fracture Rehabilitation, Bell's Palsy, Shoulder Impingement Syndrome, Parkinson's Disease, Stroke Rehabilitation, Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Plantar Faciitis.


Emma Brightman

MCSP HCPC Grad. Dip. Phys (1992)

I graduated as a chartered physiotherapist from St. Mary’s Hospital School of physiotherapy, London in 1992.  I then spent 10 years working within the NHS, initially gaining experience in a broad range of specialities, and eventually settling into Musculo-skeletal Outpatients, where I progressed to a Senior Clinician.

For the last 13 years I have worked in private practice, and have a special interest in Spinal Problems, vestibular rehabilitation (dizzyness/vertigo and balance problems) and Chronic Pain Management as well as Women’s Health.

Specialities: Musculo Skeletal Conditions, specialist in spinal conditions, Woman’s Health – Continence and Obstetrics. Chronic Pain Management, Sports Injuries, Vestibular rehab (dizzyness, vertigo/balance problems), Exercise Therapy including Pilates and Home Visits.


Kieron Phelan

BSC (HONS) Physiotherapy MSCP

Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with the HCPC and CSP. Has expertise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with a special interest in Sports Injuries, Rehabilitation; and Wrist and Hand Conditions.


Rebecca Nutt

BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy; MSc Physiotherapy, HCPC Registered Physiotherapist

A highly skilled Physiotherapist who is able to Assess and Treat a wide range of Musculoskeletal Conditions.  She is skilled in Manipulation, Electrotherapy, Soft Tissue Mobilisations, Sports Rehabilitation and massage.

Her main areas of interest is the treatment of Sports Injuries e.g. Hamstring Injuries, Sprained Ankles, Shin Splints, Sport Rehabilitation and Personal Training.


Angela Long

MCSP, HCPC Registered, BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy (1998)

After graduating as a Chartered Physiotherapist from King’s College London in 1998, I spent 16 years working within the NHS. Initially I worked with adults and children in a range of areas but then started to specialise in Paediatrics in 2001. I have worked in community settings, hospital settings including Great Ormond Street Hospital and community-based clinics. In 2004, I progressed to a lead Senior position in Paediatric Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy within a Children’s Therapy Team.

I left the NHS in 2014 to extend and to dedicate more time to my family. Special Interests: Paediatric Orthopaedics, Chronic Pain Management (Adults and Children), Exercise Therapy including Pilates (Adults and Children), Posture Education/Re-Education and safe participation in and return to structured physical activity for children.

Types of Conditions Treated: Congenital and Paediatric Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Conditions such as Developmental Foot Anomalies, Leg Length Discrepancy, Legg-Calve Perthes Disease, Osgood Schlatters Disease, Severs Disease and Chondromalacia Patella. Sport Injuries, Post-Orthopaedic Surgery (including paediatric bone tumour) and Fracture Rehabilitation, Iliazarov Rehabilitation, Sub-Acute Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis Management, Hypermobility/Ehlers Danlos Management, Chronic Pain Management (including Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome) and Spinal Problems including Scoliosis and Whiplash.
